Welcome to Rhinos in Art!
Some folk think this section is not important-I disagree....I am doing the art for many reasons, one of the biggest ones being to increase awareness of the dire situation wild creatures and spaces are in, which raises the issue of how accountable as individuals we choose to be. How do we either make it better or make it worse by our choices and actions. On that note...
Here you will find renderings of mostly rhinos. Zebras, warthogs, elephants & other creatures both small & mighty will also have their moments in the spotlight & a time to shine.
China & Vietnam are the worst offenders for illegal trafficking of rhino horn & many, many other animal parts, pieces & organs . I will not use their products to paint the very animals I and other people are struggling to protect.
I use Daniel Smith, Sennelier as well as Greenleaf & Blueberry watercolor paint.
My original paintings are printed using the giclee method on archival Hahnemuhle canvas and 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. If you require more information on these products it is easily found on their company website.
This ensures your print does not fade or discolor. It looks just like the original!
